Very much enjoying it, though I am taking issue with the premise of the U.N., namely that “there can never be peace without sustainable development, and there can never be sustainable development without peace.
Considering sustainable development has roots in neoliberal capitalism and therefore seemingly attempts to assimilate indigenous communities into the global market, there is certainly a lot to take exception to. Nevertheless, the course is helpful to understand the mainstream guiding principles behind the typical state-corporate-ngo nexus approach to peace.
